I'm just not amused that in part 3 only glass cannons exist (so far) and any defensive option is nullified by ridiculous damage scaling. I feel no difference in tankiness between my squishy support and tanked up fighter with 50% more max hp, they both can go down in one hit from random multi-target shots all the same. It just so happened that my party included girls that became op as fuck in part 3 so I'm not having problems, but I can imagine someone whose waifu team is comprised of lowly shitters would struggle even on Very Easy now. I'm not even that mad about it because I play primarily for the story and h-scenes, but it feels very awkward after how good previous parts played.

Looking forward to it in a year or more when translation gets to that point

The most fun out of this game is forcing your way through it with your favourites. I do wonder why you decided to go for Lucretia as your Dancer instead of Eden, for example. Spears give quite a bit of agility, so she'd make for an even faster Buffer thanks to her passive.

Anyone is fine for a casual playthrough, and with a bit of grinding any character can beat Paradox difficulty, but I just want to point out that those two are like Black Alice or Zion where they're busted because they're the story party members. Well these two are more less like those and more like Lilith and Gnosis busted where they carry the MW/AW route. Sure Paradox is about using your favorites but very few can beat Black Alice spamming Over Gravity and Overload and later spells.

Abilities is what makes your character work in the first place. You can make a character with a mediocre trait good enough for any fight if you farm the right abilities and give them good gear.

These comments mostly dismiss them, and the point is yeah you can make a bad character great but even if you do they aren't busted because the game gave you Lilith to handle early part 3 even if she's not great at endgame, and it's because these midgame carries exist there's this blur of them not being busted and being dismissed while preventing most old characters to be the story meta.

What i'm saying is that any character can carry you through part 3, if you care to curate them and strengthen them through the tools the game provides you(jobs, race and gear). There are stronger characters, sure, but no matter who you pick, if you put in the work you'll breeze through bosses no problem. I didn't need Michaela/Lucifina at the start, or Lilith in the middle to carry me if that's what you are saying.

Yes you can grind Pilate to solo part 3 even but it's not really busted as you needed to waste time to grind him up when you could had used the other characters. Characters that don't need to put in the work exist which are the real busted characters. My point is Lucy/Mica are two of those characters well kinda.

Aside from that, almost none of them come with triple wield either, so you need to farm that too. Point is moot, if you are oneshotting bosses your character is busted. Or keep moving the goalpost beyond what i originally meant in my post if you want, i tire if this conversation.

Lucifina and Micaela are very strong on their own already with traits giving a hefty damage bonus and all stats bonus, but what's really busted is the combination of sealed bow and spear jobs and just fits them naturally. I could substitute them with anyone other bow and spear users with the respective sealed jobs and I'd probably "just" see 70m dmg per turn instead of 100m dmg. My point is that Part 3 outright requires you to use certain things given to you and the gap between Advanced and Sealed jobs is much bigger than between lower tiers. Those who don't use the sealed jobs, eg. because they don't fit their RP theme are going to struggle even with basic random encounters. And we're not even talking about the races giving skill chains, I'm only starting to see those and that's like giga busted.

Gave Magical Monstergirls Academy a second chance and it's really not bad once you understand the absolutely pants on head retarded combat system and how progression works. I swear this is the most unintuitive game I've played, you unlock most spells by clicking on empty slots in your grimoire and buying them. Somehow it didn't occur to the dev to give them grayed out icons to indicate they aren't just empty space for future spells. There's also a problem with game not showing what exactly you need to to progress, sometimes quest locations/enemies are marked and sometimes not. But sex content is good and makes it worth it, it's all animated. Only wish the scenes had dialogues and there were more full screen scenes, but even the in-combat animations are nice. What's interesting is that you can switch between male/female at any time and it results in different scenes or animations, especially good for those into yuri and a bit of futa on female, which can be turned off

>>46557 Imo you phrased it right those characters are busted(it basically was becoming a quarrel for 'raw power to speedrun vs grinding your favorite Pokemon and any can beat the game' had it not ended), the new spear/bow skills being Eternal element means it takes in their Holy booster and eventually they can chain it from Angel Chain. Also the Critical Arrow/Lance combined with the bow slow and spear def down abilities gives spear/bow teams too much power that compliments the combination. Holy element also means taking advantage of bonus Holy weakness from Stigmata >Those who don't use the sealed jobs, eg. because they don't fit their RP theme are going to struggle even with basic random encounters. This statement feels spot on, playing through Part 3 the first times playing with the new characters it felt like a cinema mode as each of them has a Sealed job/race. Doing it with older characters feels bad unless they get the proper Sealed job/race right away as they're doing about 1/8 of the damage typically (weaker skills, innate mastery, conditional abilities). Chaos elements in AW/MW also always hit for neutral damage along with getting a second booster like Seraphs getting Eternal booster for a separate +15% damage from how much Holy booster they stack. There's way too many boosters in Part 3 and pretty much everything stacking gives too much firepower to certain characters, especially Spear/Bow characters with heavy traits like Lucifina and Micaela as it benefits their archetypes way too much.

The only times you can talk to someone is for plot reasons, which is grows increasingly rushed and jumpy the more it advances, and that ending was honestly horrid, and an obvious setup for their next game. A lot of the old characters are just gifs you can't interact with. All in all, feels pretty unfinished despite being done.
