You can only go "Oh, but THAT person really wanted it deep inside" so many times before it becomes a strange way to look at people. Abyssal corruption and how it affects men has always been a bit of a sore spot for people. Really it just comes down to "It's actually 100% good for you" conflicting with any reasonable "but I don't want to". This was really ramblely but I hope you understand what I mean.

Do you think someone who's lost their sight would complain after mamono mana fixes their eyes, or a clinically depressed person would want to go back after their brain finally stops punishing them for existing? MGE as a writing basis is like a game, you/your characters can choose their difficulty level. Monsterization/corruption isn't the end of life after all, there will be plenty of challenges afterwards, if you want to take them.
