my immediate thoughts on springvale:
>upbeat and cheerful
>the town borders a large field and a forest. several landmarks can be seen from the highest point of the town too.
>all sorts of low level monsters. slimes, regular kots, your garden variety plants, and the occasional troll. friendly folk for a friendly town.
>basically a starter town. has all the basic amenities for travelers of any kind, and many start their journeys here too.
>somewhat flat, the people dont have much depth but they are good friends regardless.
>historically considered a "rehabilitation center" for order males. the suffocating friendliness keeps them from doing anything harsh.
and how could we have spring without fall?
>cant come up with a good unused suffix. autumnsburgh is the first that comes to mind.
>very laid back and uneventful.
>nestled at the top of some tall hills, overlooking a massive glistening lake with a visible mountain range behind it.
>variety pack on monsters, the atmosphere attracts mamano from all over. bet you never thought you'd see an apophis and cheshire engaged in a normal conversation.
>lots of "formerly"s here, monsters that got sick or bored of their past lives and wanted to start over with quiet simple lives. do not act surprised when you hear someone say they were an ancient evil or a notorious mofukuza member.
>no lies tricks or traps here, minor social taboo to try and pull one over on others
>the populace is a bit plumper than average, but its thematically appropriate with their oversized sweatshirts and eternal harvest season. try their apple pie!
