I don't have a recommendation unfortunately, but you did remind me of something that happened to me in the past.
I was craving for some more angel content and decided to use vndb to check for anything that might cater to my tastes when I came across one entry called Kurukuru Fanatic that had a strong Angel Heroine tag score.
The game's plot is that (You) were murdered by someone, but an angel girl decided to give you a chance to rewind time to a few days before the your death so you can try to figure out who killed you, why they've done it and stop them from doing so again. Her reincarnation involves having sex with her in the first 5 minutes of the game. The thing is the 3 main heroines, all of which are regular human girls mind you, are some variety of yandere and thus suspects. You must pick one of them and hopefully get on their good side to uncover this mystery. The angel also decides to insert herself into your life, although hiding her true nature as an angel, and everyone around treats it like she's been around forever.
I wanted to go in as blindly as possible as to not get spoiled too much,
and while from that summary you might think it's a dark story with mystery elements, it's actually treated more as a comedy, with the girls' mood going from 0 to 100 being a recurring gag and constant exaggerated depictions of violence and what sounds like what might be a serious injury immediately being brushed off. After I finished one of the routes and ended up with a bad ending, I decided it was fine to look a bit more into the game and learned that in order to unlock the angel girl's route which is also basically the game's True Route, you have to get all 3 main heroines' good ending first. Curiosity got the best of me and I went ahead and checked some of her CGs, but upon seeing that in the majority of them she was in her human form, I decided to leave it at that and dropped the VN, the jokes weren't really resonating with me anyway.
