Finally got around to playing Hot Spring Hero after someone recommended it. I very nearly dropped it early on due to the lack of monster girl content (There is a cat girl and a dog girl and that's it), but ended up pushing through because I wanted to see where the story went and I enjoy the "extremely powerful but equally irresponsible god" archetype, which I definitely got my fill of. I did like the protag and the flat cat is cute too, I guess. I was also disappointed to find out it's an RPG, the initial introduction led me to believe it was some sort of resource management/gathering autism game, which I think would have been more interesting. It may have been a lot more effort but focusing on improving the inn and helping customers with stuff would have been way better, the game has some elements of this but they aren't refined or explored in any meaningful way. The massive selection of weapons and armor made character building alright I guess, and I enjoyed being able to make a gun from the moment crafting opened up. The big nail in the game's coffin though is that the H scenes aren't that great. There are one or two good situations, but the translation is bad and the art is kind of meh (The protag's dick in particular looks weird as hell) and for that reason I can't recommend the game, despite its seriously comfy vibes which admittedly is what I was promised and it did deliver on.

Gave Heavenly Beauty x Silver Bubble Ninetale a go. Not only is the translation bad, the game itself is poorly thought out. In theory the alternating "chase fox while dodging hazards" into "couple turns of RPG combat while you get bullied" should be great, but most of the action scenes are either broken in some way or just not fun. During combat, sometimes you'll be hit with status debuffs that cause you to lose your turn and there's nothing you can do about it. There doesn't seem to be a way to restore MP or reduce pleasure either, so you just have to take whatever she gives you. The player gender choice is neat but doesn't really change much, only a couple of images seem to show any difference so what you get out of it is up to your imagination. The field sprites and tiles are also really bad but it's not a big deal. Overall I'd say the game's not worth it unless you're starving for "bullied by a fox" content. At the very least, dying gets you quick access to the scene viewer so it doesn't take long to enjoy the art.

Maybe a little late (Definitely a little late) but I played Succubus Prison. It's a game that's outside my comfort zone, I could never get into the Resident Hill-esque horror-puzzle genre but the polish on this game helped me push through. Seriously, the sound design, the visual effects, and the music that amps up the oppressive atmosphere really brings the whole experience together. I'm particularly fond of the simple "animations" during the H-scenes, especially the layered ones (Nemea's paizuri "challenge" especially impressed me). I was also impressed with how in-depth the time loop mechanic was. There isn't a whole lot going on but the girls have their schedules and the way you're expected to learn and utilize them is great. Learning just a little bit more about the house and the Succ's security measures before fucking up and getting drained then doing it all over again just plain felt good, kind of a nice semi-subversion of the traditional loss-based H scenes. The summonable guest succs were also a nice little bonus, it was fun throwing shit into the pit and seeing what horrific fates awaited me (Except THAT one). According to the credits I still missed a ton so I might have to go back and check the rest. Also, Nemea > Vinum > Myusca

Picked up Princess Honey Trap on a whim. I don't think it's fair to even call it a game, it felt more like half a tech demo, half a short interactive story. The story itself is extremely cliche, and you can see all the endings in like one and a half hour. Combat is the standard battle fuck RPG Maker fare that doesn't really try anything new. They even give you dev-approved cheat equipment if you want to ignore that part of the game. Where it really shines however is in the animations and the dialogue, which can change based on how past encounters went. It's something that's probably easy to miss if you use the aforementioned cheat equip, in one of the the battles, I was surprised with how they even specified which move I lost to both before and during a rematch. Granted, enemies will usually only have 2 to 3 different attacks, but still. My one personal gripe is that there aren't enough monster girls or monster in the girls for my taste. Overall, kind of mediocre. If you're into reverse rape and want to edge for longer than your average hentai doujin reading session, then maybe there'll be something for you.

But RPG Maker also has "scripts" that exist as JS text stored inside of the JSON files of the data folder, for when developers want custom code without making a whole plugin. Translator++ just casually inserts those scripts as editable entries in the middle of RPGMaker. Also, still no luck, I'm getting a nonsensical error with no details. The MTL is likely due to scripts being used inside the actual text. Pretty common with a lot of RPG Maker and Wolf RPG games. Search for \ / and " characters and compare the translated text to the original. It's very likely the translator broke those apart or translated them when they needed to be kept as is.
