Long time, no see. I wrote a thing about an entombed anubis being dragged kicking and screaming out into the great world. There's no sex, but I hope anyone who reads enjoys. http://seafoam.pbworks.com/w/page/163352259/Desert%20Lovers >>76831 Thanks, boss. >>77264 My spirit animal. Perfect.

>>77298 Yes. Guys appreciate a girl that can fly them places, and you need a big wingspan for that.
>>77296 >it was at this moment the petite lich realized that Anon had certain tastes.
Goodnight Anons, take care and don't burn down the thread. Instead, remember that sometimes a Lich won't go down either the spellcasting or fighter route. Sometimes they'll take the path of the Rogue and watch you with spirits of the dead....or just be a bard and scream death metal with the most deadpan expression you can imagine.

>>77340 >Banshee lovingly gagging on your cock while she cries and drips mascara all over you I swear I'm normal

>>77332 >Shogs are closest you're gonna get to flesh slimes. Fourth closest, actually, but i'm talking more about the feel and underlying structure behing it. Shogs are slimes, necromorphs are flesh contorted. They are inherently different, which is why i said sandworm tongue is the better contender, because they are also flesh that can mold itself into any form.
>>77341 That's what Banshees were made for.
>>77343 Parasite slime is not parasite flesh, and parasite vine is not parasite slime. Shogs hit that non-euclidian sweet spot. But the chinese eye slime is maybe a better fit

Cats are the true number one liquid slime
>>77335 A fine dandy prancing about with her head full of eyeballs.
>>77345 >Parasite slime is not parasite flesh Shog are neither parasites nor flesh, is what i'm hinting at. Shogs are also not non euclidian, you should probably look up what that is. What i'm saying is that all of these fail at getting close to a necromorph because none of them are flesh. They are all jellies. Necromorphs are flesh and bone and sinew and all those things an amorphous protoplasmic being doesn't have. They are a human's substance warped into twisted shapes, not a mere translucent imitation of it.
>>77348 >Shogs are also not non euclidian, you should probably look up what that is. ???? Find me a square shog. Shog is still the closest because she can literally form any substance. She's basically Grey Goo, if eldritch magic instead of human science. She can be, flesh sinew and bone and she's amorphous, like Necromorphs. I know in game there are models and types but I wager in setting no two types are identical. Given the distinct lack of "human flesh mass" as a monster, I reassert that shog is the closest we have.
>>77280 An ancient writer awakens. There's been a surprising amount of oldfags spotted recently. >>77286 The undead city needs more men, I will bravely volunteer >>77290 >>77294 Vanilla Succubus really is the every(wo)man of monsters.
>>77350 >???? Find me a square shog. >Shog is still the closest because she can literally form any substance You are thinking of amorphous. A- meaning no, or lack, and morph, meaning shape. Non euclidean refers to a space, where angles in a triangle don't add up to 360 degrees(This is why Lovecraft tales often talk about "the angles being wrong"). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-Euclidean_geometry >She can be, flesh sinew and bone and she's amorphous She cannot. She can imitate them, have structure that look like them, but those are all ultimately colored slime. >human flesh mass Given that sandworm's tongue is a literal flesh mass, there is no need to look elsewhere. It's right there.
>>77352 >don't add up to 360 degrees To 180 degrees, sorry.
>>77352 >space Is matter not geometry? Legit question. >She cannot. She can imitate them, have structure that look like them, but those are all ultimately colored slime. Yeah, well that's poor wording on my behalf, she comes in as the closest imitation. But I don't know if you're aware she's capable of making her slime as rigid and heat resistant as cast iron. I'm not sure you really comprehend that, since you keep calling it slime, which is what she is, sure, but most people mean slime to be insubstantial. >Sandworm It's flesh but not bone or sinew.
>>77350 necros are just dorf fort zombies but with some extra blade hands, shogs are completely amorphous blobs of living construction equipment, a marker can technically use dead flesh in a similar fashion but practically never does except for brethren moons and big ass worm things because its not worth the effort compared to just driving more people insane but an individual necromorph has no ability to control its body in such a fashion were you to divorce it from the marker. A shog is a total shapechanger closer to The Thing or the Blacklight virus or a slime, able to do anything she wants so long as she has the mental capacity and mass, than a zombie with some bone swords for limbs.
>>77355 I wasn't aware necromorphs couldn't... morph. I mean, sure they didn't, I just didn't realize that morhping in the present tense wasn't what they did. So it's more a one-way transformation and then you're done? Markers would have to actively and intently shift their flesh again to have a different form?
>>77354 >Is matter not geometry? Legit question. Yes, but shogs live in euclidean geomtry like the rest of us. Again, there is nothing in the profile or the original to suggest she's non- euclidean in any way. She just changes shape, or has no definite shape, which is why i insist you call it amorphous. The term non-euclidean gets thrown around a lot to vaguely refer to completely different things, which have better terms to describe them. >f you're aware she's capable of making her slime as rigid and heat resistant as cast iron Slime is slime, whether or not it's hard. I'm refering to structure and material here, not just hardness. >It's flesh but not bone or sinew. Tongues are muscle and mucous tissue, limited by a tendon, controlled by nerves and anchored to bone. All you need is right there.
>>77356 Pretty much, they're a -morph the same way the xenomorph is, as in they're a broad category of a bunch of different forms of dead tissue. The initial change is pretty much it, whether infector or slower transformation, very rarely do any we see undergo any kind of further transformation, let alone as fast as a shog can change. The Marker could, theoretically, keep every single cell of dead tissue animated and try to use it but there's no practicality in it once the limbs are gone. The flesh still needs to follow rules of muscle and bone, it just has an infinite, remote energy source to keep powering the processes. The corpses can probably be picked up and retooled for larger stuff like dividers and brutes with enough time but it'd take days if not weeks of directed control. Shoggoths, on the other hand, have always been completely free flowing blobs which is why they made such good industrial laborers/equipment.
>>77357 They live in, but that doesn't mean that they are 'of', no? I can agree she's also amorphous. >Slime is slime, whether or not it's hard. I'm refering to structure and material here, not just hardness. Slime is typically a liquid, shog isn't always a liquid. Some times she's a solid.
>>77305 Now I am sad, because he didn't use my idea--Bob.
>>77354 no, matter is stuff in an object, geometry is the objects volume, the most basic noneuclidean geometry explanation is this curve is a straight line, the most real world example of noneuclidean geometry is on a globe, where you have triangles with two right angles, other things you can do are hyperbolic space, which is just noneuclidean geometry in the 3rd dimension, like if you section a box into equal rooms, you have four equal 4 wall rooms, but hyperbolic space means that box can have three or five equal 4 wall rooms within its 4 four walls, essentially infinite volume in would should be finite volume
Can my shog get in kot form, have fluffy soft fur and big smoothing purr? That's the only geometrical form I want
So if I understand this correctly, The whole point of convergence is to consume enough biomass to create a new moon. I don't really understand the motive mechanism of propagation in this frame. Real being reproduce because real beings die, and as vehicles for replicating our DNA we pass it down to the next generation, whereas these things clearly do not do that. They seem to just want to endlessly proliferate until, what? All life in the universe is eaten and only moons are left and then they'll eat themselves until the final conversion which will ultimately just eat itself into oblivion? So if I understand that correctly, Mamono mana would mean that in the eternal end game, it's far more viable to keep humans alive and milk them for eternity. So rather than mutating humans into having tools of death, they'd have overactive sex organs and be equipped with onaholes for arms and other such milking apparatus. effectively they'd have the same end game as the pandemonium cults
>>77362 >Your shog meido looks at you stoically >"Yes, Mastah!" she intones >Your vision blurs and you pass out screaming >When you awaken, a small cat is pawing at your face >Her bright yellow eyes are focused on you worriedly >And her purple-black fur is smooth, almost oily-looking >But she IS a cat now >However, not all is well, as some Wishes have a Price. >Small objects in your home now occasionally blink out of existence, replaced by impossible forms that undulate in both space and time >Then they suddenly return to their normal state, as if nothing ever happened to them at all >When you close your eyes, even to blink, you can still see the world, but it terrifies you--ALL is shog. >Even you. >But she IS a cat now
>>77364 That's not a kot, that's a cat. Very sad, the madness wasn't worth it
>>77363 Technically the first brethren moon created the first marker as, essentially, a larval stage for reproduction so more than likely, yeah its just a gigantic animal using gore to reproduce as every animal does. The alternative is that they're some form of weapon created by some long dead civilization, either specifically to wipe out whatever intelligent life discovers it as a dark forest protocol or there is something else so terrible out there that another race is uplifting entire species just to weaponize the corpses of their civilization. The only solution DS humans had to it is to launch the marker into space so nobody could find it until unitology cultists ruined everything. But mamonobana stronk and would turn that marker heart shaped.

Harpies are actually very intelligent. Especially owls. And owls are fluffy. But does anyone want to talk about owls? NOooooooooo.
>>77388 owls aren't that bright as far as birds go they're probably really self-conscious about that
>They have a medium-sized physique for a member of the harpy family, and they're plump with many feathers as well, so their flying ability is inferior; however, mana is abundantly stored in their feathers, and they excel at using it to cast spells. Their distinctive large, sharply-glaring eyes give them excellent night vision. >>77283 >>77284 Thanks. If you liked the old core story, I have something spiritually related I started. It's also mummified due to age, but some blood, sweat, and tears could bring it back to life. Actually, this is a good time to gauge interest since I'd like to get back into things more frequently. In decreasing order of how well I have them mentally developed, here's what I've got cooking: >The Word Chapter 5 That's the series about the naive guy getting lead by the nose by a dark priest. I know exactly what I want to do with this one, made an outline and have written a decent chunk, but the rest of it is just Mouse getting his dick sucked all over the house and sex scenes have a tendency to kill my momentum. >Manticore Fapfic 2: Electric Boogalewd See above about sex scenes; this one's pure fap fuel from the start about an ignorant out-of-towner getting TAILED around the big city. It'd take a while to complete even though the opening's done. Despite the name, there's technically no relation to the first story. >Untitled Hakutaku story A human woman under the Great Mother voluntarily enters a monsterization program and loses one love but finds another. I'd use this to show how shit life for humans can be under the monster lord, but it'd mostly turn into a story of healing and adapting to new situations. This ends up fairly similar in feeling to the piece below but has more world building. I don't really want to do both, but I could. >Untitled Holstaur Story A city boy gets in one little fight (or something) and his mom gets scared so she sends him to live with his auntie and uncle some family friends in a place called Bel Air on a farm in the middle of nowhere. There he meets the farmer's daughter, a tsuntsun cow who was human until she drank the good milk and became the biggest cow on the farm. She learns to accept herself, he learns to enjoy the simpler things, and I get to write a bunch of yeehaw dialog. >'Til Death Do Us Part A fledgling necromancer dies during childbirth but comes back as a lich. Her family has to navigate mommy being dead (kinda) as she adapts to unlife. This one would probably run for a few chapters and eventually go into a coming of age sort of thing as the son grows up. I'm kind of afraid to start because it'd become a thing. >Untitled Werewolf thingamabob A cop goes plinking deep innawoods and stumbles across a mini portal. A woman in armor who was recently bitten by one of her comrades (now werewolves going feral) stumbles through, intent to bring them back without stopping to think of herself. Our hero has to protect her from her war buddies trying to draw her into their pack, himself, and her from herself. >Motor City A foreign cop is sent to Detroit on an exchange program to learn about the unorthodox but effective ways they handle monstergirl-related crime. This would hands down be the most "fun" story on this list. >Forbidden Fruit One of the Great Mother's lilim daughters demoralizes some Order-like fools. In the process, she finally manages to get close to the one man immune to her charms. Man, there's a lot of monsterization on this list, it's like I have a fetish or something. Anyway, what looks good? I won't guarantee any of these get made, but if I do write it'd be nice to know my efforts are going towards what people would read. >>77305 No one's going to confuse that for an actual pharaoh's name for sure. I lost a lot of time on this thinking about stupid stuff, I really just needed someone to handle that detail for me because I will blow so much time on a name.
>>77399 We never got around to discussing modern movies, mostly just the occult and all the weird shit that entails. She claims to be a direct descendant of John Dee, but then got kinda irked when I asked her what tractors have to do with the esoteric. She lightened up when I joked that Ed Kelley probably helped write the owner's manual.
>>77402 This is the nightgaunt experience but with more feathers.
>>77405 #1 werewolf, #2 manticore in grabbing my attention
>>77405 Personally, I've been waiting for you to finish The Word for a while (has it been a decade now? Not throwing shade, my sense of time has been fucked for a while now.), BUT, life's a bitch, so I understand why that went on the backburner. >stuck on writing sex scenes Even more understanding. It's one of the reasons I usually "fade to black" in my writing, they're a god damned quagmire to get through without going too far into the purple prose or down a silly route. Best I could recommend is skip it/cliff notes those sections, finish where you want to go generally for the story, then go back and fiddle with the scenes til they either fit in, or aren't needed and can get discarded. As is stands though, what do you feel most excited about working on? That's your motivating energy that you need to utilize. Anons are going to be excited you're posting stories, but if you're channeling that passion into the words, it's going to be that much more noticeable.
>>77405 >>Untitled Werewolf thingamabob >A cop goes plinking deep innawoods and stumbles across a mini portal. A woman in armor who was recently bitten by one of her comrades (now werewolves going feral) stumbles through, intent to bring them back without stopping to think of herself. Our hero has to protect her from her war buddies trying to draw her into their pack, himself, and her from herself. I do love a hardass who doesn't care about her own well being. And some good old fashion TF is a rare treat nowadays.
>>77350 >She can be flesh, sinew, etc. That is quite literally not how the Shoggothes have historically worked in the context of greater science fiction. They can create facsimiles of stuff in MGE because of mamono mana but in Lovecraft’s works they were very much idiotic, barely sapient amorphous blobs who could form organs ( mouths, eyes, pseudopods ) because they were the simple labor force of the Elder Things. They could probably imitate the feel of something in MGE but if you wanted to play it by something like Clayface rules it’s be like flexing a muscle and annoying to proactively keep a fake skeleton in their body at all times when the whole point of them is to melt together with hubby and have raunchy, sticky sex like a pair of slugs.
>>77411 It doesn't really matter what they do in broader fiction. In MGE they can imitate any substance, diamond, steel, wool, whatever.
>>77412 They imitate household objects. There is nothing stating they imitate diamond or wool and per KC they absorb it back into their body when it isn’t in use.
>>77413 the frying pan in the profile pic is intriguing since they're theoretically averse to fire
>>77414 "Thank you! The main body is not so good with fire, but it seems it's okay for parts and tools like a “frying pan” that are deliberately made to be exposed to fire." It's been answered when she got released, I think.
>>77414 >"Shoggy, I'm feeling romantic, will you make us some candles tonight?" <"O-of course, mastah." >"No that's one of those flickering LEDs, they aren't as good as the real thing. Can you make yourself into candles?" <Sweats non-euclideanly There are some things that slime can't make. For everything else, there's shoggoth maid.
>>77413 There is a frying pan and cotton right in their profile pic. >They can also prepare any necessary tools with their own body, so their body itself is more than enough to sufficiently take care of all their master's needs. >When they wipe their master's body with a towel, at the same time it is also like caressing them using their own body. > they will even try to get their master to use such things as a bed or chair made from their own body. >The main body of the shoggoth is vulnerable to fire, but objects they create that are meant to handle fire do so just fine. (source: Kenkou tweet). >Objects created from a shoggoth's body can last quite some time, but normally she absorbs them back in once they are no longer in use. (source: Kenkou tweet). So we have them imitating steel, wood, cloth etc. etc. Face it, they can create whatever they want with no limits because fuck you.

wight foot massage she chooses this moment to reveal to you that she can manifest her spectral claws on her feet too
>>77548 I suppose so. It's apt if she uses the liquid method as I described, but not apt to describe paw beans normally, as they are made of keratin + adipose tissue + keratin. "The digital cushion, or base of the foot pad, is made up of subcutaneous adipose tissue that is partitioned by reticular, collagenous, and elastic fibers. Many elastic fibers are present in the deeper layers." " The surface of the pads is smooth in cats and rough in dogs, owing to the presence of numerous conical projections that are heavily keratinized and are readily seen with the naked eye" This is all to say that perhaps grem could look at faking the paw bean tissue with a dual layer of squishy adipose-like material and harder keratin like material.

>>77607 Oh, my god. How much do the fairies cost? Do they have other smolmono too? I would love a whole <collective noun here> of smolmono to live with me! Then I could have friends!
>>77609 actually, the smolmono have pooled their coins and buttons and doodads together and have bought you instead. congratulations. you are now owned by 5 fairies, 3 pocket dragons, 4 shoulder demons, 4 mini succs, 2 wurmlings and a snowglobe garg.
>>77610 >snowglobe garg Wow that is tiny
>>77611 she would rather you not put her in a snowglobe and instead let her perch on your head. or, you could let her do a bit of pixie magic and then podium you like a garg should.
>A space bug invasion force landed in your backyard last week. The bugs are intelligent, advanced, organized and ruthless. >They are also the size of actual bugs. Right now their ship is parked on a bench in your garage.

A bunch of horny brats laying down in creampied post sex bliss while their funny red backpacks are in a pile next to the bed. I'm going to quote the first part of my own previous post here: >>77475
>>77585 Dressing a corpse in a maid outfit doesn't make her a maid
>>77625 Maybe, but Ms Lich's lessons sure do.
>>77625 sure it does. it's a cursed outfit and forces a class change
>>77623 What happens when i hit 100% infamy. Do i get to summon the spirit of snek darkness?
>>77628 You get snekcommunicated and marked as snek on sight. You will be slithered by snek assassins until you pay reparations in the form of snex.

>>77647 Not at all and that's what makes them special, they are corpses with a heart, that despite not being able to beat anymore, has a goal, has a desire, has an ambition that wants to be fulfilled and for that reason they enlist to the academy. They are not very smart, they still make mistakes... but despite that they are disciplined enough to do their best, and good enough to be able to learn, train and graduate, they are not the best maids ever but they are good enough to be called a maid, they still can do the housework, they still can cook and they can still pleasure their masters and thrive as maids. Similar to those stories of punks that enlist and make a 180 degree change and thrive in the armed forces.
