Finished Cycle of Corruption. Decent snu-snu succ game, do recommend, definitely up there when compared to your average WEG. Loved the vibes, art and animations, some puzzles were pretty fun, though some of them could have been more creative and varied, but the game as a whole definitely feels like it could have used some more time in the oven, everything towards the final area and endings felt very rushed. Also, while I am actually into snu-snu and energy drain, most of the scenes felt a bit...samey? Plus the camera shaking on some of the scenes with static CG felt awkward and distracting, especially the one with your wife. There's actually a couple of scenes without the protagonist dying, so even those who aren't all that into snuff can still get some enjoyment out of it. My least favorite character getting a huge bulk of the content also certainly didn't help.

Twister scarlett came back to give monster girl 1000 a slight makeover, apparently AI slop is being removed and redrawn properly and the final segment got streamlined. Won't change the meh story and cringy writing in general, but it might be worthwhile to give it a second chance for those who were put off by the AI use. Also he's making a new game in the same universe, Monster Girl Tavern. Hopefully dev learned the lessons from mg 1000.

They both had pretty meaty gameplay. It might also be worth preserving Bobanon's Office Anubis, which is admittedly a very short "choose your own adventure" style game, but historic as one of the early Monster Girl City works, after Laska but early enough that Less did the cover as an in-thread request. I think I have all of these on my old backup drive if this was a matter of not having the games.

If you're interested in any given one do a little digging to see if there is a more recent fork than what is listed. Even then because EN forks are downstream of the JP version, actual hard update releases are also probably outdated because perpetual scope creep. TW for instance has had a few forks and multiple still in active development focusing on different things. TL;DR hunt down the latest commit on repos if you can find it.

We got a bunch of news on Forestia recently, most importantly being that the English version is finally getting an update dropping on the 22nd, catching it up to v1.3.1. Besides a number of QoL changes, it will include a NG+ option, summer dating events, special conversations during the season and a special summer event that involves the whole village. However, it should be noted that the new summer h-scenes were implemented on version 1.3.2 of the game. Also on the 22nd, we're getting a voice DLC for all the 7 heroines + Filo, initially all the love events + h-scenes will be voiced with plans to expand it to everyday conversations in the future. It will only be compatible with the Japanese version at the time of release. About a week ago, the Japanese version was updated to v1.4.0 which focused on greatly expanding the Fall season, including map visual changes, daily conversations, a special Halloween event and Halloween-themed h-scenes. The next major update, v1.5.0, which will focus on the Winter season, will take a while longer than initially planned before release.

You also can't go wrong with vanadis VNs, look up Mamono Musume in the collection. Replaying through monstergirl 1000 and the AI backgrounds are horrid. It wouldn't have been that hard to retouch them, and get rid of the piss stain filter.

Both western and nip devs tend to go the "produce what is most desirable in consumer market" route because, above all, those games are commercial products. You all tend to forget that, with few exceptions, games like that are either 1) Commercial products that are aimed at a certain consumer base. Which, in case of sex games, is not enjoyers of complex gameplay and narratives. and 2) Hobbyists that may (MGE, MGQ) or may not (A shitload of other literally-whos) shoot up and become big names. The former mostly operate market logic and if making complex gameplays in a game that serves as jerk off material is not a worthy enough investment, they'll keep putting out wankslop. The latter... Let's just say working on a videogame is a lot of pain. Especially if you're just one guy with a lot of bright ideas. Like that one guy who posted a promising-looking blueprint in one of the previous threads. Where is he now? It's been a couple months already, did he even consider working on these ideas?
>>97065 Look at the rooftops. The ridges along the edges don't align with the edge and/or are inconsistent in their number, anywhere from 1 to 3 on the same roof. The center structure appears to have a singular room on the 1st floor dedicated to just a stairway based on its size. The 1st floor roof has 2 strangely placed gables. The porch isn't symmetrical, the stairs are closer to one side than the other despite the building's 1st floor being symmetrical based on the column number and spacing, and you'd expect the stairs to lead straight into the entrance of the building but it seems to lead straight towards the window. The building in the back appears to have a pathway connecting it to the center. This pathway makes no sense as it seems to be extending to the right with its closest edge being directly extending from the closest edge of that building's porch, but the railings don't line up, not to mention no far side railings. Additionally, it only has a single column supporting it. The number of the columns under that left building are inconsistent, with 3 on the left side, 2 in the center, and 2 on the right. Similarly for the center building, it's a mess under there. The windows have inconsistent number of panel columns, sometimes 4, sometimes 3, sometimes 5, or even 2. Said panels are also divided inconsistently.

Most of them couldn't get the English signs, messages etc. right, so they ended up with some nonsensical crap that didn't mean anything. AI is just a generative network, it isn't even supposed to draw things "right" without some sort of human input, so it's expected of it to make such mistakes. But when japs make those mistakes, it's far more hilarious. On a related note, I've recently played through Fate/stay night. Here's my review of Three Charms part 1: The chase sequences are fun. The combat sequences not so much. They feel like a simplified prototype of Shrift which is both a good and a bad thing. Getting fucked by RNG/trail and error just isn't great. Hakunen started off as another crybaby shota but when he called the final boss a flatty and punched her in the face I decided he's one of my top 10 hgame protags now, probably. Akaname was very briefly my favorite girl for being gross and unconventional until she showed me her penis.

ZDoom wiki can be offline downloaded. I think there was a link on BRDoom site, though the place is offline now. UZDoom itself can be downloaded from github https://github.com/UZDoom/uzdoom, click the Releases tab on the right for the list. I don't know how far is your project going, but the more you've done already, the more you'll have to port over. Any entities will have to be ported from ZScript to UnrealScript, any custom behavior will have to be rewritten from ACS to UScript, etc. And of course all the maps will have to be rebuilt and you'll most likely have to build 3D models for any in-game entity you've been using. Unreal Engine is 3D, it doesn't have the Doom-style sprite behavior (Where you look at the thing and it returns you one of the angle sprites) because it doesn't need any. It isn't much pain if you're just starting your project, but if you have done considerable work, you better just find a way to download ZDoom docs online. And a note for the future, always keep any documentation you need locally. Any website can break down or make a stupid decision of fingerprinting every visitor at any moment. How bad are the machine translation algorithms at this moment? I don't feel like waiting a couple more years until MGQ English translation is finally done, and services like DeepL produce a reasonably readable translation from various runespeaks.

Finished BB3. It's pretty short, and the MG content was kind of lacking. Either i'm missing something, or you get only one scene with each of the resistance leaders, and that's about it. Also, has anyone gotten to NG+? I couldn't get the NG+ units, nor the party that beat the final boss.

You're an adventurer who goes around completing requests and uses his money to visit various monster girl themed brothels with each one focused on a specific species, then he writes a review and posts it at the local pub. Compared to Reviewers, the brothels are far less creative and gimmicky, most of them don't really have something to really set them apart from each other, aside from the species of course. Not all of the h-scenes are brothel themed however, you can unlock some through quests or by losing to them in battle while adventuring. The main selling point of the game is the animated pixel art, which admittedly is pretty good. Combat is done in real time rather than your typical turn-based gameplay and it can be entirely trivialized with a little bit of grinding at the casino, but even so it's kind of button mashy and brainless. It's not a very long game, the translation had some issues and I was disappointed with my reward for getting the true ending.

Playing Search of My Maid withing a Book and it feels somewhat schizophrenic sometimes. Like, the author gave us these options and sure the elves were all motherly light femdom. But you know how when you read a book or watch a movie you know how a section is framed in a way the author meant something else or wanted something more? Cause it feels like to me the creator of this game's true passion is the hardcore femdom. Like he is holding back but wanted to go all-in.
