My idea was like a fire emblem kinda game where you fight bandits/monsters/other things etc as you try to push west and reach the source of the crazy mana disruption. Would theoretically have a similar pair up / marriage mechanic for MC and the human party members and like special dialogue depending on who's with who. revolvers, repeaters, dynamite, tomahawks, bows, magic, knives, brawling, etc.

I just tested and indeed, that is no longer possible in the current patch either.

With VX Ace, if your Actor steps on a walk-over triggered Event tile, the Event's coded actions (like dialogue or sending you to another map) is only called after you've completed the particular step that triggered the event. However, if you step towards the triggering tile and then push the map screen button, you're calling a different Common Event (the map screen call) before the Event tile you were supposed to trigger actually triggers. So while you're completing the step, the Map takes focus completely away from everything else, which results in the walkover trigger doing absolutely fucking nothing

I did things in the wrong order on chaos route and not only has it been way too easy, I've missed precious dialogue.
>>16455 I don't think there's really a 100% intended order for that route, at most you can get some funny dialogue if you stop halfway through one of the quests that temporarily lends you one of the Archangels and go complete other quests or doing quests while you're princess carrying someone, but realistically I find it highly unlikely you could get all of them in a single run.

But if you're strong enough to beat all that, it loops back to the initial issue that the rest of the game becomes too easy. Maybe an alternative way of figuring out the intended order would be to check the initial level of characters you can recruit and re-recruit and go in ascending order.

With regards to the past few days, I've been doing what I could to point lost anons and anyone interested looking for mg centric places, and so far I think I've been successful in getting a handful at the very least. >>16494 Alice is a universally good concept. It's another game built in RPG Maker and I'm pretty sure the CGs they use for quite a few enemies are stock.
